Frequently asked questions

Greetings! Get to know WWTH at a glance. We appreciate your intention and desire to support us!

What are your primary needs?

Our primary needs currently are funding and a dedicated space.

What does the program teach?

Our program teaches the fundamentals of metalsmithing/fabricating with metals. We have partnered with RioGrande to accept your scrap metal in our name; donate your scrap and your donation will go directly to our program.

Do you accept donations of tools?

Yes! Our program does accept in-kind donations of tools. We can, and will, accept clean tools in very good condition, including but not limited to: hammers, mallets, files and hand tools. We cannot accept tools that need attention—most especially tools that are rusted, broken and/or would otherwise be thrown away.

Can i donate money to WWTH? What about corporate donations?

If you are inclined to support us monetarily (which go directly towards operating expenses), you may offer us a donation of any size right above and it's tax deductible! We also are able to take corporate donations.

DO YOU HAVE A WISHLIST?

If you are inclined to support us via our wishlist visit our support page where you may donate directly to fund tools for the program. We have partnered with RioGrande and are thrilled to be able to build our studio in this way.

Do you have WWTH merch?

Yes! We have tee shirts, hoodies, aprons and tote bags. Head to our Shop page and tag us at @wewieldthehammer in your selfies at the bench :)

how else can i help?

Any way you can raise awareness about us would be most helpful! Be sure to follow us on instagram at @wewieldthehammer and please share the word.
